Personal routines
Support with the parts of daily life agreed in your plan and service arrangement, while respecting privacy and choice.
Individual support at home
One-to-one support can help with everyday routines, skill building and participation at home and in the community. We shape the arrangement around your choices, goals, communication and support needs.

Supported Independent Living, or SIL, is funding for support workers who help with daily tasks and developing skills to live as independently as possible. Specialist Disability Accommodation, or SDA, is the housing itself for eligible participants with very high support needs or extreme functional impairment.
Some people living in SDA also receive SIL or other one-to-one supports, but the housing provider and support provider may be separate. The service described here is personal support, not the provision of an SDA dwelling.
Read the official NDIS guide to Supported Independent Living.

Work alongside you on planning meals, shopping, cooking and keeping your space organised where these supports are funded.
Practise tasks step by step, using communication and prompting approaches that suit you.
Connect home routines with appointments, relationships and activities that matter to you.
Agree how information is shared with you and, with consent, family, nominees and other providers.
A safe, useful arrangement starts with understanding the person, the plan and the home environment.
Talk about routines, goals, communication, preferences and what good support looks like.
Confirm the relevant plan supports, scope, location and current capacity.
Set expectations, schedules, responsibilities and how concerns will be raised.
Check what is working and adjust the approach with you.
This page describes individual support services, not the SDA dwelling itself. Contact us to discuss your support arrangement and which organisations are involved.
NDIS funding for individual support in shared arrangements depends on assessed needs and the funding in your plan. We can discuss the support item and arrangement with you.
Your service agreement should describe the agreed supports and schedule. The way support is delivered should still respond to your choices, communication and changing day-to-day needs.
