About Empowerment Supports

Built on passion. Driven by purpose.

Empowerment Supports was founded on a simple belief: every person deserves a committed advocate who sees their goals, not just a diagnosis or a file.

Our story

A boutique service where every participant is known, valued and supported.

“I’ve never just seen a diagnosis or a file. I’ve always seen a person with a dream waiting to be realised.”

Abbey Murray, Founder

Abbey’s experience began on the frontline of disability support and developed through complex transitions, multidisciplinary coordination and determined advocacy. Those experiences shaped an organisation that leans into complexity and looks for practical pathways when the answer is not obvious.

Empowerment Supports was established in 2025 to provide more personal, transparent and dedicated support coordination—helping participants understand their plan, build capacity and lead decisions about their own lives.

No closed doors

When a situation is complex, our first question is not whether it is too difficult. It is: how can we make this work safely and well?

  1. Age 17

A career begins in disability support

Hands-on work built an early understanding of the daily realities, challenges and achievements experienced by people living with disability.

  2. Pivotal shift

    Helping close a long-term institution

The experience reinforced the importance of community inclusion, individualised support and helping people transition into environments where they could thrive.

  3. Building expertise

    Managing complex transitions

Abbey developed experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, navigating high-risk situations and advocating through complex NDIS systems.

  4. 2025

    Empowerment Supports is established

The organisation began with a clear purpose: expert, transparent and fiercely dedicated support coordination that keeps participant goals at the centre.
